... or Youth Exchanges, are aimed at individuals aged 13 to 30 and offer the opportunity to come together around specific themes for a set period, generally between 5 and 21 days. These programmes promote intercultural learning, the development of social and personal skills, and encourage active youth participation in society. Activities include workshops, debates, role-playing games, and outdoor events, allowing participants to exchange ideas, share best practices, and reflect on important issues such as democracy, equality, active participation, the environment, the arts, and more. Moreover, these programmes are funded by the European Union, making participation accessible to all.
The objectives of the program
Promote European citizenship
By strengthening the sense of belonging to Europe and encouraging active participation in democratic life
Encourage cultural diversity
By allowing participants to discover and appreciate different cultures, traditions, and languages
Promote inclusion
By including young people from all backgrounds, including those with fewer opportunities, to ensure equal participation
